Episode 2
Little Ego is summoned from his bed by a Neuroracle, ported through a recursive forest by a Protocol Spirit, and warned — twice — about the glitch spores. Twelve panels later, the stack crashes, and he wakes to the oldest possible reprimand, updated for the present century.
Winsor McCay's Little Nemo in Slumberland (1905) lives in the public domain; AietEgo works in its lineage and its license. Episode One put a boy to sleep in a bedroom already half-digital. Episode Two does what McCay did every Sunday for six years: sends him further in, and wakes him up.
